Steubenville East 2014 Catholic Youth Conference will be held on Friday, July 18th – Sunday, July 20th at the University of Rhode Island (This is the last year the conference will be hosted in “our backyard”!) The conference is open to youth who are currently in 8th grade-seniors in high school. To pray, learn about our Catholic faith, and be inspired to serve God and change lives. St. Thomas More has reserved 30 SPOTS for this conference. First come, first serve. Registration forms will be available at the rectory, in Church sacristies, on this parish website and on our facebook page. Please return the forms along with a $50 deposit to St. Thomas More rectory to reserve your spot.

On Saturday, November 2nd at 5:00PM, our parish will celebrate a Mass of Remembrance for those members of the parish or members of their families who have passed away this past year. Please call the Parish Office at 789-7682 by Friday, October 25th, so their names will be included in this liturgy. A light reception will follow. All are encouraged to come and pray for the dead.

The Biblical Origins of the Mass will be the focus of our annual Summer Bible Series which begins on Tuesday, July 10 and runs every Tuesday through August 28th. The classes will be held at St. Veronica Chapel from 8:30am – 10:00am. There is no need to pre-register – just come with a Bible. Please join with your fellow parishioners in bidding adieu to Fr. Carl Fisette at his “farewell” Mass on Sunday, June 17th at the 10am Mass at St. Thomas More Church. An outdoor collation in the courtyard will follow. Fr. Fisette will be assuming his new duties as diocesan Vocation Director this summer.
